This Specialization develops the analytical judgment needed to evaluate complex investment opportunities and corporate valuation decisions. You will assess ethical and professional conduct issues, analyze real estate investments and due diligence, and apply regression-based valuation techniques.
You will also examine exchange-rate mechanics, parity relationships, currency risk, corporate governance, ESG considerations, cost of capital, CAPM, beta, and required returns. Through corporate transaction analysis, sensitivity analysis, financial statement evaluation, and foreign currency translation, you will strengthen your ability to make evidence-based investment and valuation decisions in complex professional settings.
Applied Learning Project
Learners will complete applied projects that mirror real-world investment analysis, including evaluating real estate opportunities, assessing currency and governance risks, and analyzing corporate valuation evidence. They will use due diligence, regression, cost of capital, financial statements, and sensitivity analysis to develop well-reasoned investment recommendations.
